Finals is finally over,

16th-18th Jan VetCamp is finally over,
It's the first day of holiday :D

put on a smile everyone, it's the festive season !

Had a great day out wit bro,
nice place,nice seafood at Ampang,
nice icecream at Pavilion,
awesome laser tag match at I-city,
breath-taking view of the night with colourful light bulbs,
even had 1st lou sang this for this cny at Subang :D

20th Jan
Out for lunch and shop visiting session at Klang,
get to play with snakes and dragons ;)
rushed back for grocers at SS2,
met a downpour, stucked in the shop, had a nice creampuff.
Had a scrumptious BBQ meal in PJ =) .
Awesome!

21st Jan
Did spring cleaning at home,
for at least i feel clean since my college stuff and camp back pack were so so messy in myyyy room.
Evening, found out aunt is back frm s'pore, hang out with them at Pavilion .

22nd Jan CNY Eve !

Rumah Orang Tua CKS

It is finally the day for our community service in collaboration of group 22 & 34 . We travelled all the way to our destination in Klang to share our love to the ones that need them.

We left the campus and reach the old folk home around 9.30am. Lads who have better stamina are arranged to clean the garden area and clear the logs while lasses clean up the internal of the house. There was a total of 70 of us and the cleaning process of the whole compound barely took about 2 hours only.

Besides cleaning, I felt fortunate to grab the chance to "play" with Encik Fariz's Dslr as the other community service members happily jump and pose for photosession.

It was a tiring but meaningful day at the old folks home. The old folks are entertained and some of us even fed them. I can see the joy on their face that was long gone.

Community service has taught me to be empathy about unfortunate people in our society and be generous to share our care and love. Most importantly, we should spend more time with our loved ones while they are still there.

Since this is our last meeting, I felt rather sad and will miss them from other courses. It has also taught me that being a leader (me as the treasurer) is never easy since Hamk, the president and Shahirah, the Secretary did a great job by organising few meetings every week after class hour at the main campus.

人走出来的路

Life is never easy for those who dream.

This fall, Zoologico Club organized their first ever camp deep into the heart of the closed forest reserve of Hutan Air Terjun Kemensah, Ampang.

Imagine carrying our own belongings and the heavy traps while walking on uneven and muddy paths in the forest in the middle of the night where we depend fully on our torchlight and headlamps as light source in the dark environment. The slope were really steep and the paths were slippery. Everyone took precaution and the journey itself took about 1 ½ hour for us to reach our campsite, around 3.45am. It was really really tiring. Btw, i was really impress, almost all the guys made 2 trips to carry those traps, yes i said almost all guys, not all.

The environment was totally in dark. It was until the next morning only we were to see it for the first time with our owns eyes. The cool breeze coupled with the babbling of the brook and the splashing of the crystal clear water invigirated nature lovers who were thrilled by this profound experience. The muffled sounds of tweeting, chirping, humming and droning added to the enchanting surrounding. Streaks of the ultra-violet rays shone through the thick foliage which formed a breathtaking view.

I'm sorry readers, this time I couldn't upload photos for this camping trip on facebook, and it's for a reason. But you still can catch them up at the Zoologico board I suppose, even the articles about it.

I used to sit patiently for a near 3 hour test,

Yes ! Finally a day out for a movie after so so long , this time with brother Kokwee . No idea which to pick and end up choosing Real Steel since it's one of my coursemates' recommendation, no doubt, it's a really nice movie !

That's when Charlie's former sister-in-law (Hope Davis) and her wealthy husband(James Rebhorn) drop off his long-abandoned son Max (Dakota Goyo) to watch for summer as part of a custody deal . Charlie and Max initially have no use or affection for each other, but eventually bond over their interest in robot boxing.

Charlie and Max's underdog journey towards redemption is symboized by Atom, an old-generation robot 2014 whose remains they discover in a junkyard .

Atom is the proverbial little guy who takes a beating and comes right back swinging. In him, Charlie finally has a shot at the comeback that he never quite got as a boxer.

Jackman and Goyo completely invest you in the relationship between Charlie and Max . They have wonderful chemistry together, and use humor to help mae their characters endearing even when they're not in their best behaviour .

The rest of the cast is serviceable, namely Evangeline Lilly as Bailey, a former flame of Charlie's who who owns the run-down gym he lives in .

The film has a good storyline and a great plot .
The movement and graphics of the robot are very good.
In conclusion, Real Steel is a movie not-to-be-missed !

some good old times at Sunway 8 weeks ago

Beginning of degree life

ince the start of degree, things went wrong . Asperian students were late in getting their offer letter . Biochem engineering students did not get the course they wanted cuz uni staff hav forgotten to reserve places for them . Asperians who gt Vet medicine course weren't able to stay in k17 and were placed in serumpun instead . So the first 2 weeks, i'm having a hard time to settle all the registration stuff and change of college even class is as usual 8 to 5pm sometimes up to 6pm . Finally, I gt k17 . so happy *claps*

But the hectic life doesn't end there. We're now proceeding to our nxt BIG event of the year for vet students where we, the DVM 1s hav to be the volunteer . It's Dogathon 2011 !

Week 3 and 4 , no doubt is even more hectic than before . Class as usual, assignment coming up, and yet, we have meeting for dogathon and practice for Course night 2011 EveryNight!

After test 1 , holiday is finally nearing . Really save my life :D but before that, Friday would be Steph's birthday , so we gave her a surprise celebration . yet i didn't expect them to celebrate it for me in advance as well , felt blissful for that :)

After Bakti siswa on Saturday morning, I'll be heading to Melacca with Cheeyien, Tivya and Sarah to do our Society and Change project . I'm not able to reveal much abt the research here, but it's abt the Chetti minorities in Melacca .

It's my birthday :)

I thought I'll have a great day out, but my assumption was wrong. I end up no plan that day and stayed home to complete my assignment on the poster . Gosh...realize some pic doensn't really fit it and i'll need to find most pic again . I need to brush up all the fish pic and combine everything into 1, add a little design, write the names.......wooshh 5 hours in doing it . Doing it until i feel like fainting ~.~

Night, I went out with mom to KLDA and after that we stopped by Souled Out @ ampang for a small treat :)

nothing beats the feeling of watching Chuck2 in a retarded hostel tv room,

nothing beats the feeling of being dizzy in a rotating cup and still laugh like mad,

nothing beats the feeling ofrunning in the currents to avoid being caught by a friend,

nothing beats the feeling of waiting for a bucket of water to pour on us!

nothing beats the feeling of screaming out loud while being 180 degrees upside down 6m above ground,

nothing beats the feeling of racing down a water slide with your coursemates and complain that u're too light to win them XD,

nothing beats the feeling of playing truth or dare half submerged in water and watching flying fox above us,

nothing beats the feeling of having an early dinner in oldtown and havin cake AND Tutti Frutti in starbucks :P

nothing beats the feeling of getting a skirt RM120 cheaper than the original price in a random shopping .

Likewise time flies, we hav been through Asasi Sains Pertanian for a year and 2 months .

The day has finally arrived,it's our graduation time .

From now till then, we'll look back on this foundation,

knowing that we reached this far,

knowing that we can do anything if we put our minds to it ,

dreaming things that we never dream before,

Every time I open my room door and see the messiness, it reminds me of how long I have left my room untreated . I couldn't bear with a disorganized room for it is my personal and private space . Albeit Im so deperate to give it a clean up, yet I cannot deny that I am just too tired over the weekdays stuff and have to leave myself disappointed for having no time to clean my own space, "sigh"ing everytime I come home during the weekends .

It never happens before . Life just seems encounter a 180degree change since last summer when I set foot into Upm . Everyday life is just all about ____, just don't wanna mention about that word . I have to give up all my activities I used to have, stay in that oven room, stick to the 8-5pm class timetable, and the thing i hate the most, events in uni that pop up suddenly without early notification . Sometimes they even make announcement in hostel during class hours where everyone is in Asper and nvr notify students in the future, what such common sense they have =.=

There is so much to write about but I just doesn't want to mention sensitive issues here . Only my parents know how much I complaint about life now because life in uni is not about meeting nice teachers and friendly people like how it used to be . Setting foot into institution of higher learning is no difference from getting into the real society, seeing people with their true faces . Yes, the world is harsh . I'm facing all these,...so much things to care about dealing with people, extra time spend on presentation preparation and discussions, staying up late for assignments, attending some meaningless events just because it's a must . All the while im just forcing myself to hang on, hang on and hang on. Somehow I reached the limit and ended up falling sick 2 days before Muet exam .

Like the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison . I don't feel surprise if most of my friends felt that uni life is so much more exciting because of meeting so much friends . I am more an introvert . Little knows that I even feel uneasy to live with 5 roomies at the beginning of 1st semester, but luckily by now I'm already used to it . Uni life just make me learn to find time for people but end up neglecting myself . Now I realize the importance of holiday for me to get away from everything in Uni and give myself some space .

Day 1 Muet

Muet speaking test is all done with satisfaction, well that's what i believe, since the examiner seems to smile when I speaks, or maybe she's been smiling all the time :S Lol .

I took over the conclusion lines after my team mates signals me to do so when 10 minutes is almost over and i'm rushing through the lines to make a complete sentence . Hahaha :D that's the moment I remember .

"Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved . Therefore me and all the candidates agreed on the point that moving out to stay is the best issue that requires parents' advice . "

Went to LaBomba and finally back to my cozy home on Wednesday night cuz there's no class on Thursday, but i ended up falling sick with fever and diarrhoea, a severe one . Sleeping for 1 whole day and I still need to get back to Upm on Thursday just to get those exam slips locked in my cupboard, I also went to the doctor cuz I really couldn't stand it anymorrrr. How am I gonna survive for tomorrow's 3 Muet papers ????

I took medicines to supress my fever, but I'm still down with diarrhoea . Stomach cramp comes about every now and then, probably it's because I've not been eating my lunch and dinner on the day I fell sick . Most probably my friends would have noticed me pressing my palm on the abdomen during all the 3 papers, cuz I'm really in a Ouch situation .

Reading test was really rushing and Writing test is just....phew cuz that's my first time answering question 1 :S Listening test was rather funny due to the problem of the p.a. system . Group 5 and 6 students end up completing the test 1 hour later because we were to switch to the other room for a clearer audio . It benefits us actually XD , cuz we get to listen to the player for more than twice even it's not that clear in the beginning .

That's how I've gone through my muet .

Thanks to all my friends who have been so concerned about me and those who gave me moral support sitting for major test while i am sick .

Albeit I requested for help from the Ellis Lab assistant to alter the direction of the air conditioner's fan or at least, increase the temperature, yet she gave me a sarcastic look and a really stupid answer .

and I'm thinking that it's just your excuse . I've been attending Ellis every single week and I've never seen you make any announcement . Your answer really made me flew off the handle .

This year's Christmas was really meaningful as I had a photoshooting session with my cousin, ChoonMei . Together with mom's colleagues, the Armaya Team , we arrived at FRIM by approx 8.20 in the morning and start shooting at 9 after breakfast .

The photoshoot theme today was about jungle trekking and I would say that it was less exhausting compared to the first photoshoot in June even this today's session involved lots of of moving around the waterfall area .

Despite wearing a pair of trekking shoes and long pants, I still got bitten by leech on both of my ankle :0

I am about to leave home for activities on this Christmas night, gonna end my line here.

XiaoFen and Michelle fell asleep on the cozy sofa while ChengKang lay there, looking at the 2 fellow, KokHui and Boey playing a game using the joystick, I suppose that's what they call it :S

While the other senior Asasi student were BBQing, preparing a late dinner for Joyce who just woke up from a nap .

Where am I now? Yup ! I'm Villaing with a classmate-Boey, Xiao Fen-my coursemate, and a big gang of the senior asasi students :D

my hp alarm rangs . It will be Moon's birthday in few days, therefore i sent the rest of the roomies a msg "Hey, it's Moon's birthday in 2 days, whatcha we goin to do ?"
All of them replied ...."discuss later" =.= , well ..ok

I went back to my dorm as usual on a sunday night . Esther was with them as well, they were walking to the k13 gate...hmmm strange . Everyone was quiet that night, do they still remember about Moon's birthday? Well...

Moon was at the living area, I was in my own compartment and Steph was no where to be seen, probably with the others in next door, F505 . While I was arranging my clothes back into the cupboard, suddenly the lights were off....pufff!!! and there they goes ! Walking into the room with a cake and few pizzas . They were actually celebrating birthday for 3 of us ! I'm so touched :) Awwww....thanks guys !!! thank you so much for the cake, the pizzas, the surprises, the girls' talk, the laughter....everything !

The 2nd test was finally over on Tuesday night, nevertheless I found myself suddenly involved in a competition with I never even know much about, which really make my stress level shoot up to the max the night before . Yes indeed, I ended up SO embarrassing with competing with K12. All their team members are chinese . I would really want to apologize to Luqman and William, my 2 senior teammates who were with me, I've tried my best .

Thanks to Didi,one of the senior in K13 as well, who sent me to serumpun for the competition . The experience of riding on a motorbike for the first time was really scary but awesome !!! :) I remember placing my hand onto the backseat handle and holding it really tight ...haha . It wasn't a long distance and I did not put on the helmet :X

Finally I'm home tonight....with a peaceful mind

Weee~ Class ended at 12 today and the evening ladang was cancelled ....Hoooray !!! I can finally go home early this Friday !

Holidays gonna start tomorrow and everyone was busy packing their luggage with a blissful smile on their face, thinking of the joy of reunion with their family members after returning to their hometown . Yes , i can felt it (even I am just a KL people after all) :)....the hapiness of seeing your love ones after parting with them for 2 months, far away from home, homesick .

I just couldn't stand the heat

My gosh .... you wouldn't believe, staying on the top floor is such a torture. Now that i'm not complaining about climbing the flight of stairs everyday, kinda got used to it now, but now it's the heat that keeps me crying for help.....especially when you're in the room in a hot humid day . You may think that staying on the top floor would be cooling, now i would proof you WRONG. It feels like being in a hot oven and when you're about to start your homeworks or assignments, the terrible "weather"s really gonna make you drowsy .

Can't wait for the raya holidays. Anyway this Friday and the coming Tuesday is a holiday,moreover there's no class on Monday ! Wee~ will be going home to escape the heat and returning to college only on Tuesday night. 5 days of freedom to enjoy ! :)

la vie dans UPM

I couldn't believe that I've already been in UPM for almost 2 months, time really flies . And the most amazing part is that I learn more than being an independent individual (even though I wasn't one actually XP) . All that counts is the friendship bond forged since the very first day I came here .

I miss my roommates :) Knowing them and living with them is just like getting myself 5 more siblings. I like the moments where we have our meal together on the floor, having gay chats and calling each other with our nicknames .

The 1st test was over few days ago. It's undeniable that I am pretty shock of my math result...I got less that half of the total ! :( Not really a good experience especially when you've promised to have lunch with your friends after getting the result, but in the end you just walked away alone unhappily.... and ended up having lunch with someone else in the seek of comforting words . I guess I screwed up the rest of the subjects .

Once again I felt that I am closer to nature . The natural world may be complex, but sometimes it's simplicity just bring out the beauty within . It's nice to stay in a green campus and involve in field works, but one thing bad is this makes me tanner :( ish !

like to surf the net, writing on my 2 blogspot and edit photos so much that I've been doing it right after i reach home until the day I'll be going back to upm . Basically i'm p.r.o.c.r.a.s.t.i.n.a.t.i.n.g , not finishing up works and assignments :X

My first 2 weeks in University

Right here right now, I am sitting beside the little grey desk in my hostel room, scribbling on my little diary, reminiscing about the past two weeks that I have gone through.

My heart once used to be filled with excitement and anxiousness. I told myself that I will soon enter a new stage of life, entering a journey as a young adult, shouldering more responsibilities. This is the time I will leave home for a long period of time, however I felt so unprepared in taking care of myself .The day has finally arrived. Mom and dad drove me to UPM that morning .

Activities for new students started on the first night itself. Throughout the orientation week, my schedule was basically fully packed with talks to allow new students get a deeper insight into university life in UPM. Besides that, games and activities were also part of the orientation week as it could help new students to get to know each other and forge friendship bonds . New students spent most of the time with senior students in UPM during orientation. The activities ended at 1am almost everyday and we are expected to wake up at 5am in the morning to prepare for another day full of activities. No doubt, that was the most tiring week I have experienced in my life. After the week itself, everyone looked restless and haggard .

Classes in UPM started on the second week . I felt relieved as I finally have the chance to get enough amount of sleep after a tiring day. However I was chosen to represent my college to perform in the Malam Tunas Budaya Concert on the coming Saturday night, therefore me and few of my roommates were to practise during the night until 12 midnight for a week. Even our college did not manage to win any prize in the end, but I think it worth all my effort because it has given me a superb experience in stage performance and has taught me the importance of co-operation between friends in making the performance a success.

Indeed I have gained so much benefits throughout my first two weeks in UPM. I have widened my network of friends, learn to tolerate with roommates, learn to become a more independent person and gain a new perspective in life. After all, it was two weeks of learning how to be a better person.

Orientation week = torture

Right here, right now....

I'm sitting in the corner of UPM's computer lab . Finally I am able to gain access to the internet after few days of sleepless night .

Today is my 6th day here since it started on the 3rd of July . I'm still in my orientation week but i'm suffering like hell . Oh gosh .....classes have not started yet but Orientation week is so tough !!!! Activities are so well planned, but in fact TOO well planned . The schedule is so full that you'll not even have enough time to go to the toilet XD ...arhhhhh we're not allowed to go back to our hostel until 1am (sometimes 1.45am !) , and we gotta wake up at 5am in the morning EVERYDAY during orientation week .

That's all for now, I need to follow my group elsewhere in the campus soon .

February 2010 is coming to an end and so the Chinese New Year celebration and Valentine's Day . Time really flies and I would not have realized that i had left this blog untouched for a month without the acknowledgement of my friends . So in this post i would conclude all the things which happened in Feb .

First of all , I've been enjoying 2010 Jan so much that i decided that it's time to get some job experience therefore I started working in AMC on 3rd Feb . Besides that i've sat for my undang test that Saturday and scored 44/50 , almost fail but still not too bad la .

Then Chinese New Year arrived and i've rocked the whole week with my work leave :P hehe . Went to watch 72家租客 in a gang of 20 person !

19th Feb was the 6th day of the lunar new year and uncle organized a party to celebrate new year and Ying's belated birthday at J's bar in TTDI plaza since it was not rented away yet . I'm gonna put my blame to my naughty cousins since it's their party and they urged me to perform them something ....therefore i invited Rei to perform with me that evening .

So random...so now came the forth week of 2010. Just as usual i stayed at home online the whole day for almost everyday. Meet friends every sunday :P Still havent get a job , not even driving lessons....sigh*

My cousin called me up for a movie at 1Utama and they were planning to watch Vampire Assistant . Actually i'm not really that desperate to watch it, but nvm for me, as long as i can spend time with my lovely cousins and everyone is happy .

I found that they were still undecided about what to watch between Paranormal activity , Old dogs , and Case 39 until we have sneek peek from the trailers . We've decide to watch Case 39 since it seems to be more interesting .

“Case 39” is a horror film starring Renée Zellweger as family services social worker Emily Jenkins. Emily thinks she has seen it all until she meets her newest, most mysterious case, troubled 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland). Emily’s worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to kill Lilith, their only daughter. Emily saves her and decides to take her in herself until the right foster family comes along.

Then the real horror begins...

Okay , i'm not gonna say more than that. So if you're interested , u can go watch yourself. It's quite freaky though .

Well the first family maid of my cousins was sent back because she was truly a so called "prostitute" and the second maid ran away few weeks ago . Mom and my other aunts have to take turns to take care of grandmother . So more or less , i will spend most of my time in cousins' house for time to come .

In the end i still thinks that AVATAR is the best !!! Love it till bits ! Aww...

It has been a month since i last blogged on 8th dec, not because i am too busy but because i am too free after the last paper on 14th Dec 09 . My sunday class folk,Eman called me a moment ago, he just came back from Acheh . Life after SPM is so good, i've been spending most of the time enjoying myself .

Spending time with family members and having fun with cousins and friends were what i enjoyed these 2 months. I've attempted to watch Avatar twice since everyone gave good comments about it but end up watching Princess and the frog and Alvin and the chipmunks, the selling of Avatar tickets has never been less before .

Finally cousin manage to get tickets for 6 on 9th Jan 10 for Avatar . It is undeniable that Avatar is such a good film . It is actually not an animation film but created by captured performance, nowonder it is another masterpiece of the director of Titanic, a movie with the highest selling of ticket in the world . Even after the movie, i still feel like watching it again. I tried to watch it free online, but the download is seriously slow, I really need my cousin's help to buy the DVD for me, I love Avatar !!!!

My laptop was unable to install msn messenger , i think something was wrong with the site . Everytime i see my friends comment on something, i really feel like chatting with them because i miss them :'( I online the whole day for almost everyday.......

Sometimes i just felt so unlikely. Most of the form 5s finished their spm today with the most unpredictable question in chemistry paper 3 - relationship between the concentration of acid and pH value ! wow can u imagine an experiment of PMR standard could come out in SPM . I'm not trying to tell you that i am so confident in doing P3, in fact i didn't prepare for that question at all .

I'm glad that aunty Shanny is still gonna fetch me home today, she needs to send Joy clothes for her outing with friends after spm . I'm not going home either , going somewhere doing something ...hehe

I'm still hanging there , 4 weeks passed , 1 more week, 1 more subject , 2 more papers to go . BUT this last paper is a nightmare to me - chinese language . I never get an A for school exams in chinese, how am i gonna get through this barrier? I felt almost hopeless.

A message i received a few days ago, i wonder who

will get trapped

I was drinking honey lemon the night before addmath exam , but somehow i started coughing the moment i went to bed . My eyes swelled and i suffer from severe nose block , i can't breathe through my nose . I had no idea on what has happened to me . Was is a sign of allergic ? Didn't really have a good night sleep.

This morning i went to school for addmath exam , my eyes were still swelled up......dang , i knew my friends will laugh at me .

That's the last sentence i heard before the exam invigilators came walking all the way towards me , impatiently.... sounds of the heels knocking on the ground can be heard, nearer and nearer .

There's only one conclusion i gave myself , i'm in hot soup . ARh ! my add math.....not much hope.

I remember the day after SPM history exam , countless people were happy cheering that sejarah was officially SEJARAH . Hey, they must have forgotten that the subject of history will still exist in our tertiary education . Sigh....WHY, WHY, WHY on earth my two worst subject, pendidikan moral and sejarah now become moral studies and Malaysian studies which will become my nightmare again in near future .

A couple of days ago, cousin's grandmother from Ipoh gave us a bunch of fresh organic bananas planted without using any pesticides or chemicals . While i was about to try out the banana , i discovered that there were white patches of sooty mould , i believe most of u have seen it too . I tried to look at it closely and it was actually some sort of white furry crawlers , covered with white waxy secretions with lateral and terminal filaments of various lengths , crawling on the bananas . Ewww.....it's disgusting to see things like this in human food . I tried to take close-ups pictures of it , but i failed =.= So i just post pictures found on the net shown below .

It is actually a kind of pest attacking the banana plant . Imagine if you accidentally ate those .

I was waiting for mom to send me home from Ampang Point that friday night after class , i called her and she was still shopping . So i just waited at the main entrance with my heavy school bag before she finally approach me and handed me a seed with an engraved flower on it . I was puzzled , today wasn't my birthday.....

Anyway i can't wait to plant it since mom said that there will be surprise after it germinate .
step 1 : prepare a flower pot with soil in it . The soil should not be too wet nor too dry .
step 2 : DIY a base for the flower pot using hard material and coloured paper.

Today is really busy, hmmm not to say busy but kind of occupied . My neighbour staying next door is organising an open house for Hari Raya Celebration today . So i spent the morning and afternoon there . It was not until the time the clock strikes 3.30pm, i gotta rush to class in KL .

After class by 5pm, mom wanted to meet her friend in Sungai Wang , so i guess everyone knows it, it's shopping time ! I manage to get myself 2 outfit with just RM59 . Then we went to dine in in Kim Gary.....

After 3 long weeks of dreadful trials exam, it finally ended on Wednesday. There's still an accounts paper on Thursday, so i decided to have an outing with my friends on Friday since it's the first day of Raya holidays, wee~

Kathryn, Shireen, Kwai Fern and I went Timesquare which i think it's the most unlikely place to shop unless you are there for themepark, bowling or Neway . I was late, seriously late but sorry la folks this is the first time i'm late . They were waiting outside Neway for the rooms to be cleaned . Me and Kwai Fern took the chance to patrol the shops on the 5th floor and gosh Kwai Fern got herself a new handbag from Tropicana Life in just 10 minutes of shopping , impressive :) Now it's time to enter Neway !

The atmosphere was romantic because of the dim light.....and quikly we start off with the first song . Kwai Fern was quiet, Kathryn was really excited and Shireen was neither both . I became their waitress, selecting songs for them in case they forgot some of the nice ones . We ordered foods & beverages and sing, sing and sing.....

Time flies, it's 5.30pm now. Kwai Fern and me got to go while Kathryn & Shireen conquer the room . Fern accompany me to the Monorail station, there were already lots of people in the queue of getting a ticket . We parted really soon . Peoples in the monorail was already packed like sardines, yet the guard there was still trying to squeeze more people into it, luckily i was in there for just a moment , i would rather walk to Hang Tuah Star LRT Station next time . I took my journey home through Monorail, Star LRT, and bus and lastly my bike . I know it sounds stupid, 4 mode of transport traveling back just from Time Square, but the bus station is just too far from my house .

The sky is getting dark, rain was falling like needles, but not heavy at that moment . I unlock my bicycle at the side office near Waterfront and starts to cycle back home . AND the rain starts pouring !!!!!!!!!! I stopped under a tree for a temporary shade, yea i know it's not a good idea if you doesn't wanna be striked by a lightning . After all that tree doesn't provide shade at all, the rain was still pouring under there . I took out my umbrella and decide to cycle home while holding it . Having reach home within minutes, i still end up like this

I should have went to bed right now, but i just feel like writing a blog in this tranquil midnight .

Fern was absent in school for 2 days to attend a seminar, somehow her absence brought a little different in atmosphere of the class (or at least for me). Classes today went on as usual. I was relieved to see Puan Kam regains her smile and happiness, BM teacher gave us a topic as karangan homework, brief on her idea and sat to chat with the pupil for the rest of the 40 minutes class . Chemistry lesson today was superb, in fact it was more like storytelling . Puan Ting finishes the chem syllabus today and told us about her past experience of the delivery of her 2 child and those funny incidents . I knew that couldn't describe it with words, the whole 5B was laughing like mad that whole hour . I cannot deny that Pn Ting was such a funny person who can make us laugh as if there is no tomorrow . Miss Ma was not in school today. Even Miss Anusha was suppose to enter, i guess all of you already knew......no one will enter. Lol . Oh, Josephine took my pen and removed the refill....naughty jo. The funny thing was, I was so proud that i finished my bio1 and 2 , as i know everyone was drilling it for days, YET when reach home today, i realized that i have forgotten to hand it in to Nicola !

7th Aug 2009 Friday

It's gonna be our performance for MSID annual dinner tonight . I'm feeling quite nervous about that, we only did 2 practices on tuesday and wednesday . Anyway I am sure that all 6 of us were ready.

I came back from school at 1.30pm, did nothing except surfing the net, then .......it's already 4pm, Time to go ! Mom came back early from work to fetch me to Hotel Istana, nevertheless we were stuck in a traffic congestion . Finally i reach there by approx 5.20pm and were greeted by Ifran,Eman and their mother .

The Rehearsal

Soon we were doing our rehearsal on the dance floor. Due to the condition where the dance floor is too small and slippery, we had no choice but to dance on the carpet stage .

After having our meal in the crewroom, me, kaisin and esther head to room 819 to prepare oursef for the performance, whereas the boys, i think they were at the next door .

It is 9.30pm, we were getting ready. All of us were nervous, after a few more contestant to sing on stage, it will be our turn to perform .

The time has come, music was played while we walked on the red carpet into the ballroom . We got everyone's attention . We got onto the stage . It was a clear view where some 900 pairs of eyes were looking at us . We freeze and Sway was played .

The performance was over

What i could conclude is that the performance went smoothly but definitely the rehearsal was better . I was too nervous while performing .

Life is fragile

Till today, the world is so concerned about the A(H1N1) virus such that the precautions on other maladies were less taken into action . The deadly pandemic had spread to numerous countries around the world including here, Malaysia .

How would you feel if you were just back from school one Friday evening when you find out that a death just occurred next door , and the cause of death is not swine flu but dengue fever . The poor 13th year old girl lost her mother just because of a mosquito's bite, from here I believe that you would have felt the same as me, empathy .

The sudden death of my neighbour set a chill in me, life is so fragile . A person may be living happily now but at the next moment, he/she may be gone forever .

Elken Winner's Night 2009

Alright , i know you folks were eager about this post...that's right it's Elken Winner's Night 2009 at Putra Stadium Bukit Jalil . Even I reach there by 4 p.m. , the stadium is already full of people.....though i believe most teenagers came just to see Faizal Tahir & Raymond Lam =.= Fortunately i was able to find seat for a few more friends of mom at the 7th row facing the centre of the stage .

There was alot of activities going on and i snapped more than a hundred photos, but because lack of time, i just uploaded the main ones . Enjoy~

CLIOD at Taylors

2nd June 2009 Tuesday

After making ways through usual traffic congestion in the town, i finally arrived at Taylor's University College that Tuesday morning. At the Lecture Theatre 6 (LT6) , there was already a few students sitting there patiently, waiting for the ICPU programme to start .

You may wonder what am i going to do in Taylors that day....yup i am going to attend the College Life In One Day (CLIOD) at Taylors for International Canadian Pre-University (ICPU) programme .

At about 9a.m. Mr James Leonard a.k.a Jim Leonard gave us an opening speech .

Interactive Physics at the Computer Lab 5 is the first activity of the day . Mr XXX(i forgot his name) lectured us about Projectile Motion & the 3 important variables affecting the range and maximum height when throwing an object is the launching angle and the launching speed . So you can imagine all the students attending the ICPU busy throwing objects like javelins , tennis balls , cars , pianos including humans to test the variables . Lol , actually we are doing all these using a computer programme....not real life . =.=

We were back at the Lecture Theatre 6 again . I was wondering what Instant Invention would be like since it was our next activity . At that moment, Mr John Suschkov stepped into the room . He was tall man with parents from both scottish and russian background, and he is from Canada . He is a lecturer for business studies and today he is going brief us on the market needs and wanted us come out with some inventions . The students were divided into 3 groups and each group has to design and do a presentation about their new invention for marketing within 30 minutes .

What's next.........Taylor' s Explorace !
The activity's name already tells you exactly what are we gonna do . The 3 groups have to compete against each other to answer all the question in a paper given, the group who won will get prizes ; on the other hand the group who got last will need to something which is a nightmare for everyone....................to sing and dance on top of the guard house's roof ! Well i guess at that time all Taylors students will be looking at us since it is just beside the main entrance . And there we go zooooooooooom ! We ran all over Taylors compound, asking people for directions and clues, into the library, here and there . It was really a tiring experience . At that time when my group ran back into LT6 , we got the 2nd place ! better than nothing .

Fun with Genetics
It's time for a little experiment . Chemistry Lab 5 is our next destination . The female lecturer, also from Canada will teach us how to extract DNA .
i) Add 10ml of onion extract into a boiling tube.
ii) Add 3 drops of meat tenderiser into the boiling tube, mix them evenly and ice bath it.
iii)After 5 minutes, add 6 ml of 95% cold ethanol drop by drop into the mixture, do not shake it. Ice bath it again .
iv)After 10minutes , you will see a white cloud of mucus floating ....that's the DNA !
Everyone succeed in extracting DNA and all of us were given prizes . The sad part is Michael did not follow us into the lab to take photos of us .....sigh. The lab is really nice and organized, not like our school lab.

Of course there were other activities going on, i'm just writing about the really interesting ones . Breakfast and lunch were provided too .

After the Taylors CLIOD programme came to an end at 3p.m. , mom send me to the putra station nearby, and from there i head to kasturi kl .

Another day of holiday means another day of fun and activities :) It's so great to rest & relax . I have been going out for almost everyday since the exam was over, rejuvenating myself and threw all school work a side (even i knew that i need to hand in my add math project right after the holidays) ngek hehehehe !!

The holidays were awesome! Last Friday busy as usual, Saturday went Midvalley with my folks , Sunday XXX shhh hehe, Tuesday went Taylors , Wednesday went KLCC , Friday i will be going to One-to-One and this Saturday i'm going to Bukit Jalil Stadium to see林峰(p/s: i'm not his fans , just wanted to play around with my camera) Of never ending fun, nowonder my friends turned into a green eye monster ....( just kidding ", )

Yesterday night i watched 幸福萬歲, it was so funny . Well this morning, i'm not going anywhere, just procrastinating. Checking out the shelves and i found my old stamp and sticker albums, all i can say is it was full of sweet memories of my primary school life .

What a tiring 4 weeks i had suffered, my stress level just went to the max, all proved on my forehead, pimples!
It started on the 7th of May with Chinese paper .....and ended today the 26th with physics paper 3 . I can't believe , one month just passed like that .
I couldn't explain on the mood right now. It's just like there's still a burden, there's still a pile of homework waiting for me right before the exam till now. And , projects and folios * sigh. Am i going to touch any of them today? definitely NO ! Furthermore there's a Medalist Competition in 5 weeks time, my weekly routine is so packed yet add on with practice classes.

Mid-year holiday is coming soon, i'm so excited! Can't wait to go out with friends and my cousins that i miss so much! On the other hand, i'm also attending Taylor's College Life In One Day (CLIOD) on 2nd June.

Seconds from danger

25th April 2009 Friday 0010 hour

Celebrating the end of intervensi 2 , me and joy went old town for a chat . Me and mom head home after sending joy back to GCB .
I went down the vehicle to open the gate when we reach home by 12.10am . Just as usual, i carried Cookie back into the cage before mom drive the car into the porch . Mom who was in the car saw a motorcycle came out from the side lane, and one of the indian man jumped down from the bike and ran towards her car . I was in the car porch when i heard someone running, yelling like crazy and said something like "yeah" . He was trying to open the car door and take mom's bag !! really thank god that mom was quick enough to lock the car . Nervous and scared, mom sound the car horn continuously, trying to get attention from the neighbours . Even mom was safe in her car, she was afraid that the man will turn to me and catch me . Luckily the indian man gave up and ran away , i guess he just didn't see a helpless girl and a useless dog in the car porch . My dog haiz, not to mention she didn't bark at the man but she is just too excited to see us home . For me, ya i knew i'm helpless because i can't witness the whole incident clearly and react immediately, the car headlamp is just too glaring . Me and mom managed to get ourself out of the danger .

The following morning, we made a police report at the Taman Dagang police station .

From this incident that i has encountered, i would like to warn all others to be careful even you are right in front of your house .

You just need to pay RM45 for the entrance fee of the event . Not really sure about other details because i am not a fan of him , however just trying inform people who are interested :D

Our class drama - Chutney or Cheese

My heart is pumping fast...even thought i knew that my class will not be able to become the champion, my belief in miracle puts my hope in my class's drama for the 1st runner up. Until the results are revealed....

13th of April, the day all finalist of Form 5 class drama competitors will perform . Well i missed part of the drama by 5A because we were still preparing upstairs in class, we are the second class to perform among the 4 finalist .

I was in backdrop preparation but today i was suddenly given a role in charge of the lighting, so basically while my classmates were performing i was standing in front of the stage, watching them perform . Hehe, i really enjoyed the play ! Really proud to be one of the members preparing the backdrop, it really look nice and does show the theme we are going to perform . Even the judges and students from Wesley Methodist were impressed by our 5B's drama backdrop! Special thanks given to Kathryn and the members of the backdrop preparation :D The performance went smoothly i should say .

Next was 5T's turn to perform . Their drama's story was really nice . With bits of humour and their baba & nyonya settings, the 5T did put up a good show. It's no wonder that they got the champion . Lastly is 5U's drama . That one...erm the story is more or like the BM drama they performed last year, "oh ibu" . The sound effect was quite good but the backdrop i think were okay. Well joy acting were great, that's the way she were to be since i knew her. hehe. The funny part was in the oldfolks home.

well i should continue where i start this post again. The judges were on the stage now, and results were announced . This were some of the awards i remember:

best props : 5U
best actor : Aishwariya (5B), Nafisa and another actress from 5A
best costumes : 5T

1st runner up : 5U
champion : 5T

My class got 2nd runner up, quite disappointed about it. And the props, haiz. I don't wanna comment much about it to avoid conflicts among classes, the judges' decision were finals. :(
